Exhibition:
"Leslie Sharpe"
Date
June 21 - July 28 1986
Description

"In response to the particular insistence of several key series of outdoor advertisements displayed throughout New York City, Leslie Sharpe will present a group of large photomontages which deconstruct the meaning of the original advertising campaign. In particular, she will focus on several interrelated economic and political themes: representation of money, displacement of women, and the masking of racial repression."
