Pile of Heads: Installation by Linda Peer
July 18 – September 4 1987
Throughout the summer the Window on Broadway will be the site of an installation by New York artist Linda Peer. Pile of Heads is eerie and disquieting-a mound of seemingly identical heads, cast from one mold but scratched and painted to give each a unique identity. The installation graphically portrays the dichotomy of mind and body and poignantly evokes the juxtaposition of individual identity and the masses.
