Exhibition:
"Laurie Hawkinson"
Date
April 25 - May 25 1980
Description
Laurie Hawkinson “Laurie Hawkinson’s Blind Approach consciously manipulates the viewer’s perception of the planar surface of the window glass and the illusionary space of a window as a frame through the use of glass, light, mirrors, photographs and text. The ambiguous nature of the combined use of these materials poses questions concerning the relationship of the viewer to object.” -From The New Museum Press Release
