Over the past five years Altoids has amassed a collection of curious strong and original contemporary art, now numbering 110 works. In 2000, the entire Altoids Curiously Strong Collection, including all future acquisitions, were gifted to the New Museum.

This special exhibition surveys the works by today’s most talented emerging contemporary artists, selected each year with the help of a rotating panel of art world professionals. Over 50 works will be on view including the 5th Annual Altoids Curiously Strong Collection and highlights from previous years’ acquisitions selected by New Museum Curator Trevor Smith.
