Art & Politics II was a lecture series that took the format of two speakers addressing a topic from varying viewpoints.¹ Issues raised pertained to the relationship between the fine arts and the social, political, and cultural climates in which they are nurtured.² The talks were followed by a discussion period, providing the audience the opportunity to resolve questions raised during the evening.¹
