In conjunction with the exhibition “East Village USA,” Senior Curator Dan Cameron hosted a series of discussions with special guests comparing the East Village scene of the early 1980s to the East Village scene of today. For this panel discussion, Wild Style director Charlie Ahearn, graffiti artist Lady Pink and FUN Gallery owner Patti Astor discussed graffiti art in the 1980s and a resurgence in the use of found materials by contemporary artists.
