This monograph was published on the occasion of Paul Chan’s highly anticipated one-person exhibition at the New Museum, presents the first significant overview of Chan’s work. Spanning from the late 1990s through today, it is named for Chan’s most recent project, The 7 Lights (2005-07), a series of large-scale digital projections and drawings that “hallucinate” the Seven Days of Creation.
