Published in association with the traveling exhibition “Hélio Oiticica: Quasi-Cinemas,” co-organized by the Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University, the New Museum of Contemporary Art, and Kölnischer Kunstverein, Cologne. Investigates Oiticica’s unique relationship to cinema and his keen interest in the cinematic experience, breaking new ground in the understanding of one of the most significant artists of the second half of the twentieth century.
