In this candid interview with New Museum Curator Lauren Cornell, Trustee Laura Skoler recounts her memories of the New Museum’s early years, dating back to her first meeting with Founding Director Marcia Tucker in 1979, and traces her history with the Museum from her contributions as Chair of the Activities Council, to becoming one of the New Museum’s most long-standing trustees from 1983 through the present day.
