New Museum First Saturdays for Families: Blooming Flowers

April 2 2011

Flowers have been a fascination of many artists. Explore Isa Genzken’s sculpture Rose II (2007), installed on our façade, and Shirana Shahbazi’s site-specific wallpaper (2011), which includes a vase of flowers. Inspired by these artworks and the arrival of spring, create bunches of flowers using unique materials.

Museum First Saturdays for Families are free of charge. This program is designed and recommended for families with children four to fifteen years old, and includes free New Museum admission for up to two adults per family. Children under eighteen are always admitted free. No preregistration is required. Space is limited and tickets are given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Your entire party must be present; tickets will not be given to partial parties.
