“Hans Haacke: All Connected” was the first major American museum retrospective of the artist Hans Haacke in more than three decades. In celebration of the exhibition’s opening week, Haacke participated in a conversation with Edlis Neeson Artistic Director Massimiliano Gioni and Kraus Family Curator Gary Carrion-Murayari, co-curators of the exhibition. Haacke, Gioni, and Carrion-Murayari revisited major moments in the artist’s trailblazing career, from his early kinetic and environmental works to his critical interventions into the ethics, politics, and economies of the art world.
