In conjunction with the exhibition “Impresario: Malcolm Mclaren and the British New Wave,” the New Museum presented an all-day symposium on the history and legacy of punk, co-sponsored by the Fashion Institute of Technology. Malcolm Mclaren and the exhibition’s guest curator, Paul Taylor, were joined by others from the fields of fashion, music, graphic design and cultural theory.
