Join Benjamin H.D. Buchloh, Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Modern Art at Harvard University, for a special keynote lecture, “Darker than Imagined: Past and Present in Pettibon’s Cartoons,” presented in association with “Raymond Pettibon: A Pen of All Work.”

Benjamin H.D. Buchloh is the Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Modern Art at Harvard University, and one of the editors of October. His most recent collection of essays at the time , Formalism and Historicity: Models and Methods in Twentieth Century Art, was published by MIT Press in 2015. His essay on Raymond Pettibon in the exhibition catalogue for “Raymond Pettibon: A Pen of All Work” is his third essay on the artist’s practice.
